
Havening Techniques ®
Havening is a psycho sensory technique developed by Drs Steven and Ronald Ruden based on 15 yrs of research. It is a newer therapy which has gained publicity because of its use by celebrities to resolve stress and anxiety. There are seven different approaches which constitute a system for healing and building resilience. More than one may be used in a session.
Havening is a gentle, non-invasive technique that helps clients to resolve traumatic events and the associated negative emotions by removing the link between the memory and the emotional response. It is based on touch and visual, auditory and cognitive distraction techniques. This makes it an effective approach to resolving conditions such as

- Anxiety
- PTSD
- Birth trauma
- Fears and phobias
- Limiting behaviours
- Chronic pain
- Self confidence and self esteem
- Grief and much more
Conditions can be resolved in as little as 2 sessions for some clients although it can take a little longer for others depending on the complexity of the condition and because each client is unique.
